An event presenting an original approach to the art of radio play. The festival program is focused primarily on the presentation of premiere projects, involving representatives of the Poznań creative circles. These projects take forms on the border of site-specific, sound art, theater and performance. The aim of the festival is to show the diversity of sound expression and to offer the audience new possibilities of communing with radio plays. The Auditory Festival – is an event that presents a new, original approach to the form of a radio play. Radio plays, which are most often associated with dramatic productions for radio based on words, sounds and music, will be the starting point for carrying out various activities in public space with extended ways of receiving them. The festival is primarily focused on the presentation of premiere productions involving representatives of Poznań creative circles – playwrights, composers, directors, sound producers and actors. The proposed project is a continuation of activities started three years ago. During the three editions, the integration of the aforementioned creative circles has increased. The production of each premiere covers several areas of artistic activity: writing a drama / script, composing music and audiosphere, directing the entire project and cooperation with actors. The productions will be enriched with scenery elements, thus including the level of artistic expression in the entire project. The productions are designed so that the sound work can function independently, however, the stage design element enriches the premiere in the urban space with additional contexts, feelings and emotions. The premieres of the projects created for life are an excellent opportunity to discuss the subject not only of the radio play itself, as a form of creative expression, but also its way of appearing in space and reflecting on the implementation of various topics. The interpenetration of various media, while maintaining the primacy of the sense of hearing, becomes the foreground of interesting experiments, both formal, thematic and genre. Close cooperation between members of creative teams enriches them with the specificity of other artistic professions, thus increasing the self-awareness of artists. The result of the integration are more and more mature and refined radio plays. The field of cooperation between various creative circles in Poznań is also expanding. The great value of the festival is bringing to life completely new artistic projects, operating at the crossroads of many disciplines, the cultural and community-creating role of the festival contributes to the development of the artistic potential of Poznań. The advantage of the festival is organizing premieres in spaces not related to culture and art, thanks to which, on the one hand, we offer the public the opportunity to discover new places that are inaccessible, or to discover new locations. A specific map of the presentation / listening places activates the culture-forming and revitalization potential of e.g. vacant buildings.
This is the limit of auditory perception, a cage beyond which only silence exists for us,
and for people with various defects, animals and technological devices, a different world stretches. Communication occurs only in overlapping areas. Persons with a shifted scope of perception (OzPZP), in relation to our standards, participate in a reality that is inaccessible to us. It becomes even more expressive from the perspective of using technical devices that translate inaccessible reality into signals recognizable by our senses. OzPZP operate in a different research field, their image of digital reality and its VR derivatives, AI, cannot coincide with ours, but inspire the question about their scope of augmented reality and virtuality. Cooperation with OzPZP must break with the idea of rehabilitation, for the benefit of partnership in reaching beyond the horizon of perception.

For visual information, we turn to sound, finding in it a platform for communication and focus. Listening is an active process, it is based on understanding the causes and
dependencies in the world. We want to use it to exceed our limits,
reach the inaccessible dimensions of reality.

VIR Gallery is a virtual space filled with images, sound, video, concerts, vernissages and art. It arose from the desire to share what we create – so that it could exist, function, act and be in the world. That it can be visited and admired. Make it controversial, modern, real and criticized. That it would find itself in the present day or construct it.
VIR Gallery is a virtual exhibition space, created at the time of the collapse of human physicality. In the era of limitations related to COVID-19, it turned out to be necessary to enter the virtual world deeper. Its specific properties create new, qualitatively different opportunities, hence the need for the organization and development of cyberspace. We, students of Interactive Media and Performances, explore and expand the possibilities offered by modern technologies to promote and present broadly understood art. VIR Gallery is therefore an exchange platform, a meeting place for creators and recipients – at any time of the day, without limits, endlessly.
1.We explore the mechanisms of the newest art arising from the double paradigm of performativity and interactivity.
1.We are dealing with both the language of writing and a programming language. Their mutual relations in our virtual space are natural, complex and multi-dimensional. 1. For us, art is a binder that enables us to design and content, but also through art we can express ourselves, present and open ourselves to two-way communication. We want to receive feedback and discuss it, talking about the current state of the Gallery, about what has gone well and what needs to be improved.
1.According to Art as Research, we strive for the interpenetration of many fields, we conduct a dialogue with new technologies, we explore the possibilities of software, creating a virtual space, and in combination with hardware, we express ourselves artistically.
1.We notice new forms of mutual interactions between humans and their surroundings, we expand the new cyberspace dimension of the human environment.
1.2.0 Web has accustomed us digital natives to constant updates that visual culture is unable to deliver. VIR Gallery is a response to the crisis of images that are only visual representations.
1.For us, existence is a change, and consciousness calls into motion the need to act. For us, digital technologies are technologies of freedom that favor the development of a democratic public sphere.
1.We create non-original art, we create authentic art.
1.We use telepresence to simulate interactions, it alleviates the longing for physical presence. We touch the most sensitive points through the screen.
1.We speak the language of the media, so the manifesto does not end with the text. He’s just getting started here.
