This year in collaboration with Mediations Biennale Poland, Auditory Festival part of the Hearing Horizon program. As this is the fith edition, this year we are presenting an overview of productions from previous years and three premieres – two for children and one for adults. This year the Festival will take place at the Poznan Supercomputing-Networking Center, where we focus on deep reception of sound works with additional scenery.

The Auditory Festival takes place in Poznań for the fifth time. The creators of the Festival bring sound theatre productions from the ether to the public space, giving a new context to sound works, which until now was mainly associated with the medium of radio. The radio drama Festival shows the multifaceted nature of sound expression and offers the audience various forms of communing with radio plays. It presents phenomena on the border of site specific, sound art, theater and performance. Thanks to the cooperation with playwroters, sound engineers, composers, directors and actors, a series of project is created that draw on the traditions of radio drama, broadening the ways of receptions and taking on contemporary themes. Work on each play takes place on three levels: drama, sound and music, and spatial.

In frame of Mediations Biennale Polska and collaboration with VIR Gallery, Project LAB and Electroacoustic Music Studies at the Academy of Music Ignacy Jan Paderewski in Poznań (SMEAMuz Poznań), we have prepared a new exhibition space especially for the Arch ImpAct Science Club from the Poznań University of Technology. 21 photographs will be presented with the theme of light (“Światło”).
During the opening of the exhibition “Światło” on vir-światlo.glitch.me there will be a livestream of three concerts as well as interviews with artist and creators straight from the Project LAB Space. Will play for us artists (SMEAMuz Poznań) : Michał Janocha, Julia Polowczyk, Wojciech Kaszuba and Katarzyna Taborowska. Maryolkah and SYMPTOMY will also play.
